School Motto

Quaque Sunt Vera is Latin for, "Whatsoever Things are True" and is taken from Paul's Epistle to the Philippians, Chapter Four, beginning with Verse Eight:

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report;
if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise,
think on these things.

Students hosting personal parties may distribute invitations at school if every member of the student’s class is invited; otherwise, invitations should be sent directly to the homes of those invited.

School Closings and Emergency Communications

PDS does not automatically follow the same decision that the local school systems make. In case of inclement weather, PDS may close or start late. We will make an announcement on our website, via email, social media, and send a text message.
PDS needs and expects the positive and sustained cooperation and support of its parents and guardians if we are to be successful in serving our boys and achieving our mission.
