Head of School Search Update - Final Round Interviews & Parent Sessions

Dear PDS Community,

I hope your return to school has gone smoothly! I am excited to share that beginning next week we will be hosting finalist candidates in Memphis. These men will be interviewing with the PDS Board of Trustees, leadership team, faculty and staff for the head of school opportunity.

Just like our return to school, these interviews will look somewhat different from the traditional finalist day...masks will be worn, distances will be kept, temperatures will be taken, and the hand sanitizer will be flowing. We have prepared a full day of interview activities for each of our candidates, and we are looking forward to a successful time together in spite of life’s new limitations.

Parent Meetings with Candidates

As part of the final round interview process, we will be providing an opportunity for a group of up to 50 parents to hear from each of our finalists. This is the maximum number of participants that we can support for this event series while also adhering to all applicable COVID-19 protocols and restrictions.

We will be e-mailing a registration link on Tuesday, September 8th and this will be a first-come, first-served online registration process (please do not contact the school by phone or e-mail to register). Prior to registering, please review the scope of this commitment below.

I appreciate your support and greatly appreciate your understanding as it relates to the limiting factors we are managing in order to host the parent sessions. We are thankful for the PDS community and are excited for what this process holds for the future of PDS.
