Black History Month Family Guide

Advance Memphis put together a Black History Month Family Guide as a resource to help families observe and recognize the many African Americans who have contributed to our nation and city. The guide features brief biographies as well as weekend activities. It is our hope that this resource will be beneficial to PDS families and help extend what is going on in the classrooms and across campus into boys’ homes.

Steve Nash, father of Stephen Nash ‘19, founded Advance Memphis in 1999 to empower adults in South Memphis and bring about economic revitalization in the city.
