What does the future of K-12 education look like? How can we prepare students for their future and not our past?
At Presbyterian Day School, we're not just asking that question, we're working on answering it by leading the way with an innovative approach to elementary education.
Our mission statement is the same as it was in 1949:
Presbyterian Day School strives to glorify God by developing boys in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man
Whether they are learning to draw, play an instrument, or shoot a basketball, boys love the hands-on, active, creative approach that we offer at PDS.
Get into the spirit of the season - Adopt an “angel” from our partner school, Berclair Elementary.
The angels are students deemed most in need at Berclair. Adopting PDS families will contribute $25 (check made payable to PDS) for a gift card that will allow the student to receive a Christmas gift. Have your son write a note to or draw a Christmas picture for the student, and return to PDS with the check and red angel.
NO SHOPPING NECESSARY!!
The angel trees will be located in the EC Lobby (Cyndy Wright’s desk) as well as the Main Lobby (Marilyn Seaton’s desk). Please stop by anytime during the day to adopt.
All contributions and notes are due back to PDS by Wedneday, December 8th.
