Welcome Back! We hope you had a wonderful and relaxing Fall Break. The boys have enjoyed sharing about their adventures and time away from school. This week, we have loved learning about syllables and "clapping" it out to determine how many syllables are in a given word. Have your son show you how to clap out the syllables in a word. We are so proud of the boys' reading skills; they are blending and using red words to compose sentences in class. Practice using red words in sentences at home. In math, we are making patterns, using tally marks, and working with the 10 frame. We look forward to a fun filled October as we dive into our unit on Bones. We will learn the importance of bones in our body and how they work! We look forward to our special time with our dads and special male friends on Friday, October 20.
