We hope your new year is off to a lovely start! It has been so nice being back with our boys!!

LEARNING was the “key” idea for this week! We sang about Larry the Lion, which helped us think of words with the sound of “L”. We made linking chain patterns, worked on our laptops, counted with number lacers, wrote and sorted letters in the post office, and learned some really cool facts about lions and lizards.

We are working on recognizing our last names. You can help your son practice by writing your last name as he watches and put it up around the house. Can he find it in the mail?

Forming letter Ll with colorful pegs on our Lite Brite was the highlight of our week! Sampling lemons and limes was bittersweet, but we sure did love trying Lucky Charms and our lollipops. “L” week was loads of fun!

Have a lovely weekend!

It is our greatest joy to be able to teach our boys about the true meaning of Christmas!

The boys have enjoyed our Christmas themed centers and creating beautiful ornaments that represent a few of the stories we've read.  They have loved our special Christmas devotions and wonderful books.  We have role-played, sung, danced, shared, made Playdoh Christmas cookies, baked Christmas goodies in housekeeping, worked with candy builders, played games, decorated, and recreated the nativity just to name a few of our activities!  The boys worked hard to learn all the words for their Christmas performance.  We know you enjoyed listening.  Don't forget you can view it on our website as well.

As we begin this last week before Christmas we would like to say thank you. Thank you for the privilege of teaching your son. Thank you for all that you do to support us here at school.  Thank you for the sweet gifts you have given us.  Merry Christmas...and God bless us all!
