Annual Fund Chairs 2015-2016

Dear PDS Parents, Grandparents, Alumni, and Friends,

It is time to kick off the 2015–16 Annual Fund at PDS, and this year we hope to raise $550,000 in gift commitments. To reach this goal will require significant support from individuals, such as you, who believe so strongly in PDS.

Parents, your sons are the future. It is important to equip them with the best academic tools, surround them with a forward thinking faculty and most importantly show them what is to be a godly man in this current world.

Grandparents, your grandsons are precious to you and to PDS. PDS has an intentional plan to with care for the health and safety of your grandsons while they are with us. Many days your grandsons spend more time at PDS than anywhere else. Isn’t it comforting to know that they are safe, loved and cared for by teachers and faculty members that know, nurture and love them on a daily basis?

Alumni, PDS has been encouraging and guiding boys academically, spiritually, and physically for 65 years. You are fortunate to have been part of this great Memphis institution. It is your first alma mater. Help us to continue to provide the very best tools, programs faculty and staff to each and every boy at PDS today.

Like most independent schools, PDS has an Annual Fund that supplements the operating budget of PDS. Your gift helps support the educational and extracurricular programs at the school that make a PDS education so unique. The theme of the 2015–16 Annual Fund is “The Choice is Yours” which highlights that you now have the option of designating your annual fund gift toward the programs that you would most like to support at PDS.

We are honored to chair the 2015–16 Annual Fund and we invite you to join with us in making a donation. Every gift is important, large or small. Your show of support by participating is what is most important. Please show your support for the great things going on at PDS by making your pledge or gift today!

The 2015-2016 Annual Fund is headed in a new direction and the choice is YOURS!

What direction do you want to choose?

PDS is a special and unique school and a PDS boy is far from ordinary. Your investment in the PDS Annual Fund helps the school remain at the forefront of education. This year we are happy to announce that you have the opportunity to direct your Annual Fund gift to the area that is most meaningful to you.

Divide your gift among as many areas as you would like:

  • Area of Greatest Need
  • Art and Music
  • Athletics
  • Campus Security
  • Character Education
  • Faculty
  • Financial Aid
  • Student Health Center
  • Technology

Your gift to the Annual Fund helps cover the 15% gap between the cost of tuition and the actual cost of a PDS education. By pledging or giving to the 2015–2016 Annual Fund, you will show others your dedication to the PDS boys, faculty, and community.
