Week of October 21st

What a Nice week in JK! We introduced the letter Nn. We made noodle necklaces, and created our nest letter card.

Hi ho the dairy-o! We have loved diving deeper into our study of the farm and studied farm animals this week. We learned how milk gets from a cow to carton, and we even “milked” our own cow and churned cream into butter. We got to taste our hard work! Mmmm…. We will wrap up our farm unit next week with a Harvest Breakfast!

We were also busy getting ready for our Grandparents’ Day program. We celebrated 70 years of Spirit and Song at PDS. Thank you to all the grandparents and special visitors that came!

Reminder for Nurse Alice Ball:

With Halloween coming up, we ask that ALL treats of any kind MUST be on the nut-free list.  Any candy/cookie/cupcake label has to clearly state that the product was made in a peanut and tree nut free facility…any product with language that says something like "made in a facility that also processes nuts" is not allowed.

Looking Ahead:

Thursday, October 31st: Harvest Breakfast 11:00-12:00

Friday, November 22nd: Thanksgiving Play
