Father/Son 6th Grade Trip

REMINDER

SIXTH GRADE TRIP
September 17-19, 2010

Dear Parents and Sixth Graders,

Departure time for the trip will be FRIDAY, September 17th at 8:45am. All fathers should arrive by 7:45am to put their luggage and lunches on the buses near the athletic fields. Fathers will then go to the Gymnasium for a brief meeting at 8:15am. Boys are to report to school at the regular time and go to their homerooms.

Because it is a group trip, please do not plan or request individual excursions during scheduled activities.

The business office will bill you $750.00 for the total cost of the trip. This will include two nights at the hotel, transportation to and from St. Louis and transportation to all events. It also includes tickets for the baseball game, Six Flags, Rec-Plex, the St. Louis Arch, and meals at the hotel and Rec-Plex. Additional money will be needed for food at the ball park, lunch on Saturday at Six Flags, lunch on Sunday at the St. Louis Zoo, and for any souvenirs or snacks you may want to buy during the trip.

The dress code for the boys will be appropriate school clothes. Boys will not need a coat and tie. Hats are permissible outside only. Please bring a swimsuit for the indoor pool if you intend to swim. You may also want to bring an umbrella or rain gear because most events go on as scheduled. We have attached an itinerary and a bus list. We have already taken care of all reservations and tickets. I am looking forward to a great trip with the boys and fathers.

Football Jamboree Schedule

Dear Parents,

We are excited about our upcoming annual Football Jamboree and Cookout. The Jamboree will be held on the new playing field on Saturday, September 11th. This promises to be a great day filled with plenty of touchdowns, hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, and fun for everyone.

Each team will play two 10 minute quarters. The 4th grade league will start their jamboree at 9:15am, and the 5th and 6th grade league will start at 10:15am. Specific start times for each quarter are on the attached schedule. EACH BOY SHOULD BE DRESSED AND ON THE FIELD 15 MINUTES BEFORE HIS TEAM STARTS PLAYING.

In the event of rain, please check our website between 7:00am and 9:00am on Saturday morning. As always, thank you for your support of the PDS Athletic Department. See you there!
