I just wanted to give you a heads up and let you know that I will not be at school Thursday or Friday, so please direct any emails to Marie Duncan. I also wanted to let you know that I have really enjoyed getting to know your boys! They are all wonderful young men, and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for them.
I hope you have a wonderful summer!
We have a change in plans for tomorrow. While there will still be a food pantry placed at our original location, we needed to change locations to make the planting process move forward for tomorrow at four.
Here are the plans;
Windy and I will still walk the boys to the athletic field around 3:15.
We will leave at 3:30 to caravan to our new location.
The business where the pantry will be installed is My Cup of Tea. They will stock this pantry on a weekly basis.
There address is 823 Semmes Memphis, 38111.
We look so forward to seeing you tomorrow at 3:30!
Windy and Alice

This Tuesday, the first of our nineteen food pantries will be planted in a needy neighborhood in Memphis. We would love for each of you and your hard working sons to be a part of this historic event and celebration. To make this happen, we will meet after school and caravan to the site. This food pantry will be placed in the 38109 area code and has a volunteer church that will man the food for this pantry on a weekly basis. Presently, there are six more of our pantries who have host volunteers for the stocking of food scheduled to be planted in other food needy neighborhoods in our city.
Listed below is the information you need for THIS TUESDAY'S planting. Please let us know if you will be caravanning to the site with us. Everyone is welcome.
Day: Tuesday, May 23rd
